Beautiful Garden is an atmospheric horror game where you navigate through a bizarre environment while trying to learn more about the story behind the house and the garden in front of it.

During the making of this project, I worked as the Lead level Designer, Narrative designer and 3D-Modeler. I have designed and planned the layout of the entire level while implementing the narration of the room into the game. The entire layout and some props were made and painted by me. The difficulty part about this project is the use of atmospheric and surrounding elements that can give the story and create an uneasy feeling to the player.
Lead Level Designer Responsibility
Design the layout of the level.
Communicate with the Lead Designer and implementing what the designer want in the level.
Narrative Designer Responsibility
Create and plan a route for the player in the house.
3D-Modeler Responsibility
Model the entire building and some interior furniture.
Level and Narrative design
I designed the floor plan based on an initial floor plan from what the designer want from the level and then create a layout for the design team to see then I collaborated with the design team to create a path and how the layout lead the player throughout each floor.

3D-Modeler
After the level layout passed the designer, I have created the entire level based off from the design using Autodesk Maya to create a model and then use Substance Painter to paint the texture.

What Went Well
Player path: The game level design is able to guide players through the map from where they start to the end of the level, Players rarely lost along the way due to the careful pathing design that use item or furniture to help players navigate through each floor.
What did I received
Narrative experience: I learnt how to create an environment that can guide players without telling them where to go next.
Modeling: I got to create a full house model for this project which help me with prototyping 3D environment.
