This project is the continuation of the Beautiful Garden project. The game's system has been recreated and expanded to support many new mechanics. The player will be presented with many episodes, each with its own theme and mechanics. The core pillars of the game are Psychological horror, discovery, and episode uniqueness.

Due to the shortage of people in the project in the early to mid stages of the creation, most of the members assumed many roles in the project.

Challenges

Due to the shortage of members and all of us being game designers, most of us took and work in many positions simultaneously, this led to many problems such as overworking or the lack of UX QA which cause a lot of gameplay issues later in the project.

What did I receive

  • Team Directing: In this project, I have learned how to manage a small-scale team and planned everything ahead into a schedule so that the members can follow along with the plan and know what to expect in the process.

  • UX: Lacking User experience design can lead to the failure to understand the game of the player, players won't be able to follow along with what the designer planned if the experience is very frustrating and cannot lead the player to the designated path.
