This game was made as a part of My First Game Jam 2021. The theme for this Jam is "FREE" and our idea for the game is to make the player escape the place but how the player escape the place is also up to them. During the making of this game, I'm the Lead programmer of the project who program everything in the scene while also designed on how can the player end the game.

Lead Programmer Responsibility

  • Create everything in the game according to what the designer team want.

  • Set up prefab for the team to work with.

Game Designer Responsibility

  • Help with the design of the basic mechanic and how it work.

  • Create multiple puzzles and endings in the game.

Programming

With the completion of the game mechanic from the design team, I worked on the prototype to create the image of what the designer have in their mind.

After everything were set and with the approval from the designers, I continued refining those features that were made and implementing the gameplay element into the game to complete the final touch.

What Went Well

Time management: Even with the time limitation, we still manage to complete everything on time even if we need to cut some ending from the game.

What did I received

3D elements: I learned to create a 3D prototype for a first time from this.

3D game design: Having to design a 3D environment for a first time help me prepared for the future project.
